Setting The Tone

  • Lofts at Prince Street 177 Prince Street New York, NY, 10012 United States (map)

The beginning of the school year provides you with an opportunity to shape your school’s culture. It’s a chance to create a learning environment that is defined by mutual respect, academic curiosity, achievement, and fun.

Setting The Tone is designed to equip you with the knowledge and tools you need to create such an environment. Effective forms of positive discipline, adolescent development’s affect on communication and understanding, and supporting at risk students will be covered.

Through engaging activities and discussion, you will acquire new skills and sharpen the skills they already possess. You will return to their school with strategies, tools, and artifacts that when consistently implemented, will improve the student-staff dynamic, moving your school culture forward.
